Hey, I’m Sam Lily
I make indie folk music that’s probably too emotional for your average Tuesday. I’ve got a basement studio in my parents’ place, three folders full of unreleased songs, and just enough gigs and streams to technically call this a career.
I write music to actually feel the things I’d otherwise be bottling up — and so that other people can feel them too. If you’re into melancholic lyrics and mellow vibes, I’m glad you found me.

My songs are about the things I don’t usually say out loud — the heavy stuff that’s somehow easier to lift with a melody than to speak it straight. Making music’s how I stay sane, and I’m here to make something real — something organic. To let the light from the biggest moments of my life breach the event horizon of my mind and shine out across the universe.
I’m not here to be heard — at the end of the day, I’m just writing what I need to hear. And I know I’m not the only one. If you’re out there listening too, we’re kindred ears tuning into the same quiet frequency.
